A Few Things we can’t Accept

We can’t second-life these items:

To make the donation process easy, safe for the babies who receive these items and comply with NZ safety standards, we’re unable to accept:

  • Bath aids
  • Bottles & feeding utensils
  • Bottle warmers (if electric)
  • Breast pumps (if electric)
  • Car restraints (that have expired or been in an accident)
  • CD’s & DVD’s
  • Change Tables (that do not fold)
  • Clothing or linen (that is unwashed)
  • Cots (that don’t comply with NZ safety standards)
  • Cot bumpers
  • Exersaucers
  • Feeding pillows or toys (if bean-filled)
  • Fleece blankets
  • Foam booster seats
  • Foam floor mats
  • Maternity bras & clothing
  • Monitors
  • Nappy bins & wrappers
  • Newborn head supports
  • Potties, toddler seats and steps
  • Soft bedding (duvets or pillows)
  • Sterilisers (if electric)
  • Toiletries (if used or opened)
  • Toys (with lead parts, small round lithium batteries, parts smaller than a ping pong ball, large soft toys)
  • Walkers
