A Few Things we can’t Accept
We can’t second-life these items:
To make the donation process easy, safe for the babies who receive these items and comply with NZ safety standards, we’re unable to accept:
- Bath aids
- Bottles & feeding utensils
- Bottle warmers (if electric)
- Breast pumps (if electric)
- Car restraints (that have expired or been in an accident)
- CD’s & DVD’s
- Change Tables
- Clothing or linen (that is unwashed)
- Cots (that don’t comply with NZ safety standards)
- Cot bumpers
- Exersaucers
- Feeding pillows or toys (if bean-filled)
- Fleece blankets
- Foam booster seats
- Foam floor mats
- Maternity bras & clothing
- Monitors
- Nappy bins & wrappers
- Newborn head supports
- Potties, toddler seats and steps
- Soft bedding (duvets or pillows)
- Sterilisers (if electric)
- Toiletries (if used or opened)
- Toys (with lead parts, small round lithium batteries, parts smaller than a ping pong ball, large soft toys)
- Walkers
